What aspect of textiles are you interested in?:
All aspects! I am especially fond of historical/vintage textiles. I like to play in many mediums - but 90 per cent of my play is with fabric.

Hi Marie,

You're kidding. You need to go to more quilt shows! I love art quilts and wish I could see more in person. I did see a show last year in Santa Monica -- Fiber Fest -- that just blew me away. Sadly the show was cancelled this year! And I was so looking forward to seeing all those gorgeous quilts. 8-]

This place (Surface Design) looks great for inspiration.

along the lines of wearing a blindfold and sticking a pin in the list? could be dangerous, may have to spend days working out how to stitch a vintage motorbike if miss the list by a couple of inches :-)

you are probably right(especially the crazy bit), just need to think what I am going to stitch, not one for traditional samplers so thinking cap on this weekend :-)

So how long have you been stitching with or known of Sharon? I only learned of her and this group on the 22nd of May. I am in a couple of Yahoo crazy quilting groups and saw someone's post that was in the town just six miles south of me. She was wondering about any crazy quilt opportunities and so I e-mailed her that right over here in Henderson, just six miles from her we have a small crazy quilting group and another one in Shakopee just 30 miles north of here. So she, Sherry, went along to our Shakopee meeting on the 22nd and she met the group, we chatted all the way and back and that is when she told me of Sharon and the stitchin fingers group. When I went on-line to check it out, I could hardly believe the "eye candy of stitching delights" that I saw before me! I signed up right away and think this is going to be so much fun and such a learning experience! I am excited!!!!!
