Hideko san, I am so pleased you like my work, it is wonderful to have it appreciated.

You must spend many hours doing your own work I think it is wonderful, such precision.

Hi Hideko! You are so kind - many thanks for your lovely comments re: my work!! They sure lack the skill and elegance and, and, and (!!) of your completely Heavenly work!! The little hearts on my cards are approx. 2" x 1.75". They began when I wanted to make a card for a very special, brand, new baby girl. I wanted my love to p-o-u-r through somehow. So, I began with 3 tiny hugs (O's) and 3 tiny kisses (X's) in tiny gold beads and then filled in the background with beads of whites and pale pinks. I backed the whole onto lace and dotted that -the lace - with a few tiny white flowers with pink centres. The parents of this darling new baby were sooooo thrilled, I decided to try more hearts, but in a variety of colour combinations. I actually do quilt actual quilts, but I've developed a 'thing' for cards - probably because cards are so small, thus fairly quick to finish. Are you like me, I wonder? Do you have a stack of...UNfinished quilts?? Eeek!
Cheers! Charlotte

I think ti's good to have influences around the world. No boundaries for inspiration, isn'it?

Thank you so much for your comment on my quilt :) The shaggy quilt is so easy! All you have to do is snip the seams and wash the quilt in the washing machine and throw it in the dryer! its the washing and drying that makes the seams go shaggy ;) its all in the way you sew the seams, leave a larger seam allowance, sorry I cant remember now how big mine was?? and you sew it so the seams are showing. sorry I'm really bad at descrbing how I do things LOL. maybe someone here can explain better? or maybe google shaggy quilts?? Hope this helped a little :) xoxox
