Hi, the ATCs are free machine embroidery on soluble paper- makes life easy as you can draw the design out easily or even print it with your computer ( well it works on my aging epson but maybe not the newer printers)- choose very faint lines as the ink will bleed into the threads
Hi, thanks for playing with the fun question ! I think living in the Uk, I tend to take our embroidery heritage a bit forgranted. However I agree about India, would love to visit sometime.
Hi, Christine, you have asked for seing my peas; they are on line......;so many happiness for me to look at the others do, it's virtual and riche exchange....REgards
- Any ideas you have as to what I should do w/my pea project I would greatly appreciate.
**I have sewn them to a velvet ribbon, because, it's for wear them with a green and funny skirt that i have cut. i think it's not so common to wear peas at the neck.....and I had some malachite beads of a broken old necklace; if I had your email adress, i post the photo

Should it be a quilty or just a piece of art in a frame?
PS 2: on your photos, I have seen peas, and...............The past week, I have embroidered (in neddlelace)some peas and mounted them on a necklace (and mallachite beads ); I shall put photo soon.........
Oh, Christine, please when you will embroider and finish your fig say it to me(PS), it's so interesting to compare different interpretations......Funny game!
PS: this summer, I shall be absent for holidays in New Mexico and the wedding of my son; ...........
I replied earlier but I can't see it - it means 'flat out'. Perhaps thats another Aussie one - my dad had a funny lot of sayings - a mix of North Queensland and cockney. His father was born in London. It means I have lots to do and am trying to get it all done at once. When I try to explain it seems so laborious!
I seem to need the weekends to catch up on things I have let go all week with the course (which I am enjoying, by the way) and it is also a time for those thoughts to circle around while I work out how to approach the week's lesson. I want to play with pattern but not spend the whole week trying to cut snowflakes and I need my 'computer adviser' to help me with the kaleidoscope thingo. I think that the most important concepts from this week for me are pattern and negative space. I'd love to be an artist but can't manage what I want.. However I am gettign lots of weaving ideas and playing with the software I had neglected for 2 years!
Are you enjoying the course? I hope so.
I meant to say - I lovew that photo of you. I am still fighting the email and haven't time at the moment to do more. Would love that list of blogs from the class please. I am still going like a lizard drinking (one of my father's favourite sayings).

Love your quilts and postcards! Especially the "stonehenge" one.
Are you going to join the hand embroidery group and try the Stitchalong?
