just read about the show in Manchester Sue, will you be there? I now live in Leeds but worked at the shows prior to retirement, maybe I will make an effort to get over but now on;y have public tyransport to rely on.Wii look at ICHF and see what other exhibitors are going.
Thanks for adding me to your friends list.I just looked at your photos,I loved your Japanese embroidery and all your bead work pieces especially the scissors case
I'm still on Phase 9, stitching Seasonal Poems. As for beading, I bought the Phase 1 kit last fall, but I'm not sure when I will be able to take the class. Right now, I'm concentrating on my stitch phases, and have to make the commitment. Only so much time in the day. And of course, there are all of the other types of embroidery I like to dabble in. I am not able to go to Atlanta this Aprill, and I'll have to wait until next year, I guess.
Sue, thank you for your kind comments on my Japanese pieces. I see you have done some beautiful beadwork, something that I want to start learning and develop some skill. I recently bought a Phase 1 Bead project from the Japanese Embroidery Center and am waiting until I can take the class from the Center. Your Venerable Friends piece is very nice...I love the textures in that piece. Your Flower Bouquet is absolutely beautiful. Your jewlery looks like fun to make. And your fish....what eye-catchers! You are a very versatile stitcher!
I just looked at all your beautiful pictures and some of the Japanese embroidery and beading work you've done, I've also done. Not near as much as you have, but we do have that in common. You may inspire me to finish some of my projects! I love the little scissor fish....he's darling!
