Hi Laura,
Got your message on My Page, and yes, I did eventually manage to sign up on your Yahoo Group. I'm glad you emailed me though because I'd forgotten all about signing up for the November swap! Never mind, I have a few fabric postcards 'on the go' at the moment, so I still want to participate. Guess I should hop across and check in. I did put my name and address down in the data base - can't you find it?
Hi Laura,
Thanks for responding to my message about the Yahoo Group. I've signed up okay; I've been in Yahoo stitching groups before so it was no problem. No, I just couldn't find my way around the Group itself, as far as finding a list of people who are going to be swapping postcards. I'll go have another look later.
Laura, looks like you all had great fun with the first postcard swap. Can I make a couple of suggestions for the next one, LOL. If you just draw out partners so that each person swaps with their partner it would make it easier to get adressess and avoid confusion with similar names? How about calling the next one Swap Number 2 as well and making a seperate thread to sign up on? Hope this is helpful, I'm sure you probably already thought about these ideas, VBG.
Hi Laura,
I just left a comment on your blog about your lovely Hoffman Challenge quilt, and then realized that I could have left it here. Good luck. I think your quilt is creative, and an attractive design, which should do very well. I commented about mine on my blog; I don't like it personally, but I hope it can travel!
Hi Laura...I received Cindy's beautiful crazy quilted post card several weeks ago. I wrote you a message but with my track record for maneuvering around stitchin fingers I probably mailed it to myself!! LOL Carol in Clermont
Hi Laura, I got an email from Joelle yesterday which I replied to with my address so hopefully she now has. I will email you as well just in case it didn't get through to her. Thanks for sorting all this out. Helen
Oh Laura - I feel so bad for your kitties! But they have been doctored and with your TLC they should be all well before you know it. So sad when they can't tell you where it hurts!
Oh Laura Don't even think about the postcard while you are going through this! When we watched our news last night and saw the devastation and realised it was Wisconsin ii just hoped you were safe - hope getting roof repairs is not too difficult but I guess it will take time as everyone will need help. All the best
Hi Laura,
This all makes me giggle, kind of like Abbott and Costello and "Who's on first" but I'll bet it's not making you giggle. Maybe you're gaggling over the mix-ups. Anyway, here's my e-mail. It's posted on my blog so anyone who goes to the blog can send something. It's seasewhapy@yahoo.com. I will be sending to Ruth Lane. Smiles. Sandi
Hi Laura, I have just sent you an email for Sandy A's email but on checking her profile find that Ruth L is sending to her are there two Sandi/y's and if so who is the other?
Hi Laura, I'm having such a time figuring out this site! I thought I'd communicated in the beginning that I wanted to be in the swap. Then today I finally figured out how to get a message to you after hours of frustration!!! It's fine to swap with Cindy. I'm going to take a nap!! Carol K.
Judith.. let me know if you have any questions. I have only been sewing for about 3.5 years. There are many tutorials on YouTube.. on sewing and what not... Kind of neat place to start..
