I've just made myself a cup of tea after doing the dishes. Together with a nice piece of chocolate, it is now time to answer all the people who commented on my TAST-piece. By the time I am done, the angel on the other side of the globe will have posted another challenge in the TAST-series!
Thank you very much for commenting on my pictures. I had a lovely time looking at yours!
So I do hope you make it back to Melbourne next year! Our Guild is fantastic - I go there once a month, but also belong to our local country group. Beautiful and friendly ladies all!
Hopefully our Melbourne building will be refurbished by then - major work underway because of termites :(
Thank you Margaret for your wonderful welcome message. I am still learning my way around stitchin fingers. Also, your embroidery is so beautiful. Thanks for your kindness and helpfulness!!
I look forward to seeing your crochet. I kept the tutorial open and just took it round by round and it went pretty well. I did have to do a little removal and replacement, but no big deal. As far as your photo on blogs, have you added a photo to your profile/settings page? It should come up automatically when you are logged in and posting. Thank you for following and thanks for accepting my friend request!
Hi Margaret. In response to your question about the tutorial for crochet, I added a link on my blog. It is so simple as it is all done in chain, single and double crochet. I hope you enjoy it. I did it in a day! If you have any problems linking, let me know.
Hi Margaret: It's very nice of your to welcome me. Many thanks. I love threads, fabrics, color but haven't done much: just surfing and enjoying artits' work. nga smith
Thank you Margaret for accepting me as a friend. Your work is just beautiful. I try a little stitching, but have not achieved your standard. I love most forms of hand work and quilting is the favourite. You could make a lovely quilt with a jelly roll, there are numerous patterns out there for some wonderful designs. I look forward to seeing your work in the future.

I've been to Leeds years ago on my way north from London, then took a train up to Edinburgh. I love England and have been there many, many times. I don't miss an opportunity to go since I am so enamored with the architecture.
