Cathy I had to pop in again to remember what your work was. The CQ is Fabulous...I love it..
I see you are in Utah... We were on an extensive holiday a few years ago from Southern Ontario, Canada where we live, out west and south of the border...We did 11,000 kilometers altogether. We spent some time in Utah and were in awe of all to see. The landscape is a marvel. Lucky you to live there.... My fave was of course the grand canyon area, and could have spent a lot more time at Temple Square. We were lucky to hear the Mormon Tabernackle Choir sing.... Awesom e experience...
I would return anytime I loved it so...

Hey Cathy,
Great to hear from you, as always. We go home to NJ every 2 or 3 weekends. That's about the longest I can go without seeing our beautiful baby grandson. He's a year and a half now, and I miss him so!!! I didn't know you were a grandma. Isn't it the most wonderful thing? Sorry to hear he's moving away. You'll be making that trek to Texas often, I'm sure. Hope all is well.
Best,
Marilyn
Hello, Cathy. Thank you for the invite. I am new to the on line community but appreciate the opportunities available. I am very new to crazy quilting but it feels like a perfect fit. I haven't even finished embellishing my first block. I also cross-stitch and crochet. Right now, I have some cross stitching obligations and then I am excited to start up a sampler of embroidery stitches. I thing this will be a great tool for adding experience with the various stitches.
Cathy...
yes, I do recognize your name...It's really neat to see "old" friends here in this new list. I have to admit, I have been working a couple of new things, but my computer skills are not the best! I may be able to get my 10 yr. old to help me with the pictures! I will keep trying! Your work is beautiful! thanks for sharing
Cathy: redwork is usually a broad term that encompases any outline/picture embroidery. A color like brown is termed "redwork in brown"......Have you seen my chocolage blocks? forgive shortness of post. have installed new keyboard & mouse today and i'm lucky i can post at all right now; keep getting error messages that the wireless can't read things....
Cathy!! Oh my goodness. I'm so glad to get your note. I had NO record of your "new" last name. This is terrific. By the way, your work is lovely. So good to find you again. Thanks for your note.
Hi Cathy,
