Maria, It is a pleasure and a priviledge to follow your work. You use some techniques I don't, but I can appreciate good work and good design anywhere. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Maria thank you for sharing your work with us it goes beyond just being beautiful. You have captured everything that Leonardo says in his painting of the angel with your stitches.

Hi Maria

How nice of you to mention me on your blog. Your angel is just the most beautiful piece of blackwork I've ever seen. You are amazing.

Hello Maria,

Thanks for getting in touch. It is great that you are my partner in the exchange. It'll be great to get to know you. I have a few ideas for an ornament but do you have any requests? I have sent you a friend request. I will also email you my postal address.

Hi Maria,
Just in case you haven't seen my post on the Cross Stitchin Fingers Group, your partner in the Christmas ornie swap is Lynne in the U.K. I have emailed her suggesting she contact you by leaving a message on Your Page, but you can also email her at her Page. She is on the Cross S.F. members list as LYNNE (not Lynn Shaw from the USA)

Thanks Maria. It's a work I hope will be completed before too long. Your stitching is exquisite...I always wanted to learn thread painting. Maybe when I am "retired" and have more time.

Maria, take on line classes at quiltuniversity.com and start with the the beginners class and the rest will be history for you..That is how I did and also learn from books and some from my twin and mom..not the art quilting part..they won't have anything to do with that..lol I am just learning after being so stuborn about traditional, now..I say you need a lot of patience for sure...thank you for the welcome and hugs, Lorraine
