I am sure your needlelace will be as lovely and neat as all of your work. I know what it is like to get addicted to a technique. it is good to have a bit of variety.
Thanks for your comments on my Victorian Christmas Pillow. Yes, I saw the discussion of the Edelweiss stitch in one of the forums, and was going to post this picture there. Couldn't get it to work. Any suggestions on how to do that?
They are posted on the slideshow box of my page, not nearly as good or interesting as what the rest of you do, but It makes my heart happy when I do it.
Hello Lorelei and thank you for your comment on my drawnwork sampler. I have had a lot of fun with it over the last few years and will be sorry when it is finally done. Your own work is lovely and very inspirational. I look forward to seeing more in the future.
Your work is beautiful. Most of my recent work(in the last 20 years) was either sold or given away. I wish I'd taken pictures before they were gone. I will take pictures now of all my work,so I can have a photo reference to look at. I'm still very new at how to work on networks like this one. Can you tell me how to make a direct link to my photobuckets album from My page?
Hi Lorelei,
I don't know if this person is a member of our group but her blog is a wonderful resource for antique Italian needlework. It is great to be able to look at examples of how some of these stitches were constructed in the past.

Lorelei, Thought I had commented back for this, found the stitch in my Mary Thomas Dictionary......saw a funny thing on a genealogy blog this lady said she had the particular info, but couldn't remember where she had put it...and continued "its probably in the box where I keep my lost marbles" ....that described me perfectly.
