Thank you, Alka, for your enthusiastic comment. How funny that you, from Gujarat, should admire work that I confess was heavily based on my impressions of Kashmiri shawls and Gujarati mirror work! And here I am, I have never even been to India! *laughs* Now I feel like a fake! Ha ha, but it is okay because you liked it, that means all is well! ;)

Your poster is wonderful. What is mud and mirror work. Do you have photos? Thank you for asking me to be your friend. It will be great to follow your work.

Hello Alka, I am another newbie. I like your stone work poster, it is very unusual. I look forward to seeing more.

Dear Alka Acharaya,
I joined a few days ago, so I am a newbie too. I have been to Gujarat a few years ago, I was in Bhavnagar to visit Palitana. My dream is to come back and visit the Textile Museum in Ahmedabad again and also visit the Kuchch, I read that here there are many textile crafts and would like to go one day or another.
Welcome here, I hope that we can be 'friends'.
Blandina
