Hi Gina
Don't know how to send a private message, so I am leaving my email address here for you, so that we can exchange postal addresses for the Christmas Exchange.
Gina, in my original blast about the Christmas postcard exchange I should have said that I don't think the problem was your fault. Clearly you were trying to avoid problems (as you said) and this was the result. As they say "no good deed goes unpunished." I'll stay off the exchange, but good luck, and thanks for the thankless job of organizing it.
HE HE Gina thanks for the thought ..............I don't know where the icon for virtual gifts appeared from on my page ???? I'll send you thoughts of virtual chocolate back....Love Lorna x
Thanks Gina for your help on the ATCs... I was wondering more about the size and whether or not there was a protocol for the back as in what information was included there...
I have some great spiderweb fabric I have been looking for an excuse to use!
Hi Gina and a very good morning to you.
Thank you for the complement, gee if they would sell for that much I sure hope they look after them.
We have a auction site here Trademe it is a good place to get some lovely old embroidery work.
I inherited some of my husbands great Aunts work and oh my it is beautiful you would think it was done on a machine the work is so fine and very hard to tell the front from the back.
The Aunts did all the embroidery for the church.
It is so lovely of you to welcome new members this way...I can't wait to get started, and to spend more time with all of you! Thank you so much, Gina...you gave a real boost to my day!
Hi Gina
Yes I should have washed them first but was in a hurry to make a start on them, I am always like that when I have a new project to start I want it done yesterday lol. Not always a good way to be but that's me hurry! hurry! rush! rush!.
I have had very limited time lately, my little dog of 17years is having some health problems that is demanding that I be with him for a lot of my stitching time, but it is time well spent he is a little darling I will post a picture of him today.
Have a great day
Hi Gina I am using some that I was given, not sure what brand they are as they had mostly been printed onto computer paper. I have done 14 so far I still have a few to go.
My fingers are getting a bit sore as the material is a very tight weave making stitching hard going as it has not got very much give to it at all, so I will be pleased when I am finished.
I will get some pictures taken soon
Have a great day
