Thank you for your comment meg.  It depends on which end of the rayon you thread through the needle as to whether it untwists or not.  I love working with these.

Hello Meg, Thank you for your kind words about my silk paper work.  I have loved looking through your treasures on line and so admire the beautiful work you do. You have such a talent for putting wonderful blends of colours together.  I see you are a kiwi and as an ex-pat now living in Queensland (but with frequent trips home to revive the spirit!) it is a special thrill to admire your talents.  I hope you will accept me as a friend so I can follow your work on a regular basis. Kind regards Frances McLeary

thanks Meg re the crazy quilting books. Have looked them up Carol Samples is £360.46 new or £83.37 used!! and Linda Causee is £49.99 so I am afraid they are both out of my price bracket. I have one by Judith Monatno Elegant stitches which  has a section on crazy stitches. Will pop into the library next time I am in the city centre and see what they can come up with

Hello Meg, and welcome here to SF.  Thank you so much for your generous comments regarding my stitching.  Your work is breathtaking, truly breathtaking, and I am so pleased you found SF.  Your photos are lovely.  I have been absent for a few days, but will spend some time now looking at the lovely pieces you are sharing here.  Cheers from a beautiful autumn day in southern Queensland.

Thank you very much Meg, I truly appreciate it, I can't wait to see some pictures from you. I stitch all the time, I let my husband do most of the driving so I can stitch in the car also. I have Hardanger curtains in both of my bathroom, the green ones down stairs and the white cafe curtains up stairs, hence the picture in my photo album.
