Aww, Jane, I'd love to be your friend. Since I am not at a computer right now, I'm on the blackberry, I can't tell if there is a button I need to press to accept the invitation. I will check back later. The blackberry internet service does not always show a complete web page so its hard to tell if I am doing things correctly. Talk to you later
I wouldn't give up just yet. I don't even know where to begin if I was doing a cq book. I'm just totally lost. I'm getting discouraged about it though. I've joined some other groups, but have not participated in them becuase I wanted to try one a time.
Hi Jane
I am so sorry I thought I had replied to you. My brain is mush so much of the time. Too many kids.
Thank you for your comments on my work! It is nice to know others enjoy what you do.
I need to go to do a blog roll to see what everyone has been up to.
Thank you for the welcome!!
Lauri
Jane, Blending Photos with Fabrics is a splendid book, by two long-time quilter-photographers--Mary Ellen Kranz and Cheryl Hayes. Their instructions are clear and complete, but the book is worth having just for the eye candy. They also have a website: www.electricquilt.com.
Thanks for inviting me to be a Friend. This is sure looking like a fun place to be! I, too, know you from TIF. Your post on May's TIF sounds a lot like myself. Especially numbers 4, 5, and 6! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets stalled by an abundance of inspiration and "stuff"!
Hello Jane it is rainy and coolish here in West Michigan. I can hardly wait to get home and do some stitching in the sunroom and listen to the rain come down. Judy
I have just looked beside me ! No Design group - you are invited!
I am a bit like the lady in the cartoon in your blog - no pets - just a husband who says things like "Is it lunchtime?" about half an hour after I think I should stop!

Hi. I am such a slow learner when it comes to most things but especially a new stitch. I am really looking forward to the stitch-along - especially since I decided that I can 'do it my way" - unfortunately I don't have the patience for samplers in straight lines. I always want to make 'something' I am sorry i can't remember - are you a member of the Design group? If not do come join us and share your ideas. i am hoping that will lead me in new directions also. Feedback and ideas bounced off and by others seems to spark something that I need.
Hi Jane...I am still figuring out this new social network, too...I think I am really and "old-fashioned" blogger...but this is the wave of the future, isn't it?
Hoping that spring is taking off up there in the UP by now...

I'm still constantly amazed by silk - the more I learn, the cooler it is.
