hello everyone ,iam a mother and a grandma of 5 little girls and 4 boys two of them teens and two under 12 years ,married for 45years have two adult boys and one adult daughter ,for my hobby i love to sew and quilt ,i have been sewing since i learned in jr.high school and just took to the sewing machine since then, i worked in a beauty shop for 15 years as a hairdresser and enjoyed it very much ,but was missing so much beening away from my family and kids ,so i changed jobs ,where i worked part time in schools cafeiteria,s and then moved up to custodian work iworked there for 18 years and loved it ,but i got injurged at work and had to retire because of  3 surgery,sand i did not recover fully from ,so since 2005 i have not worked ,now when i feel good i sew to past my time ,not the way i was hopeing to retire but i,ve been trying to make the best of it ,i love to quilt and make home decor things for my home or projects for my grandkids and family ,iam 61 years old and enjoy family and life and my  4 dogs and my huge turtle and 2 smaller water turtles  that live in a water tank .well i think that all about me ,but i know i,ll find some wonder people here ..Nellie
