I have just had a lovely break in Stratford-upon-Avon, and whilst there, I found a fantastic used book shop down one of the crooked little streets. I trawled through the craft section(which was VERY large) but just couldn't find one that seemed interesting enough.
As I was about to leave, I saw a tiny reference section tucked away in the
corner - and there it was!!
A slightly dusty second edition of 'Inspiration for Embroidery' by Constance Howard.
It may be old, but the information and ideas are just what I need, so I will be delving into my treasure book and trying out some of her wise advice!
Which book do you consider to be a treasure and why?
