I am working on a small embroidery kit, its a stamped cross stitch and let me say this the stamping for the stitches are so off I don't feel too bad.  I am working the Senility kit, the other kit isn't stamped so maybe that one next.

I bought a few kits to get myself back to embroidery and cross stitch its been a while and I have a few large projects planned but I wanted to get the feel of stitching before I stated the other projects.

The stitching is moving along quite nicely though, the instructions call for 3 stands of floss, personally I think 2 would have been better to use.  The cross stitches barely look like a "x" or maybe its just me.

But I am stitching again and its nice to have something else going on when I need a break from knitting, which I am doing as much as I can since taking a class a few weeks ago.

A few things I learned while working with this kit:

1 I don't like the stamped cross stitches because the stitches do not appear to be uniform in size.

2 I finally got the hang of using a needle threader, oh my gosh what a wonderful little tool and I can not believe I waited decades to actually use one.

3 The little line magnifier was a smart purchase.
