After being sick for the past week and a half, Monday I was finally feeling well enough to get out of the house and headed to Hobby Lobby to pick up some Paton's Lace yarn. It seems HL is the only store in my area that carries it without sequins. While browsing the yarn and books I found a great pattern for a readers wrap in the Think Pink crochet book.  It's a lovely piece and simple enough for a beginner and since I am teaching my friend G to crochet I think this will make a great moving up project.

I just love this pattern so I'm going to make one for myself in Autumn colors rather than the pink, though the pink is quite pretty I just thought these colors were more in line with the cooler weather season ahead.

The darker skein is for the wrap and I may use the ombre for the lapel or edging, the lighter skein is for another project in the book.  I did find the Paton's Lace yarn I wanted and the store actually had more than 2 skeins in stock more on that another time.
