I just discovered I very useful product for embroidery. It is a pen with ink that is removed by the heat of the iron. It works great you can draw on the fabric and the iron it away. It is called Frixion  ball pen by pilot. Just want to let everyone know because this is wonderful. Hugs to everyone. Elaine

I have used this pen Elaine, and find it very useful for embroidery and applique. There were concerns expressed by friends about acid reaction on fabric. Have not heard or read any negative reports. Claire
