Floral Spray for my Christmas Wallhanging

Here is a beautiful winter floral spray I machine embroidered for my Christmas wallhanging.  There will be 2 mirror imaged from each other near the bottom of the composition.

Machine Embroidered Motifs for my Christmas Wallhanging

Some of the outer blocks for my Christmas wallhanging. The outer blocks will be about 10". The little inner diamond is about 4". These motifs are machine stitched on a 6 spool Babylock machine. Each motif was roughly 35-45 minutes to stitch.

TAST Fabric Book

One of my goals for 2012 is to explore color in a little more depth than usual.  As the various challenges presented themselves, I thought these might be the perfect opportunities to try some new ideas.  With that in mind, I have decided to make a fabric book with each page representing a color on the color wheel.  Following the color wheel is easy since it has 12 basic colors and the year has 12 months!
