All the fun of the fair!

My sampler for this week(last week:)

Was inspired by a boring little stamped piece of paper and it said'Ticket to ride'.  The words sound exciting though, don't they - so I centred my piece around it.

  I still have a couple more details to finish(I am busy at the moment looking after  my husband, who has a back injury and looking after the garden).  I am very late posting it up but at least I'll finish it to-morrow.

Alternative to Tast sampler.

I was getting a little tired of all the Aida fabric I bought in preparation for the TAST challenge(it seemed like a good idea at the time:) To-day, I suddenly realized that the background fabric makes a great difference to the way I work and feel!  The Aida is crisp and rather clinical if not coloured in some way, or that is the way it seems to me, at least.  I know it is wonderful for cross stitch and working out sample borders etc.
