A give-away, book on dyeing/cool gloves

I've made what feels like a major decision for me to begin a purge of my quilting books and to celebrate this giant step in the land of fiber :) I'm celebrating with a give-away hosted on my blog for the book "Magic Dyeing Made Easy" and a pair of cool rubber gloves to get the newbie to dyeing started. The book is fantastic for the beginner dyer who wants to ease into this addiction addition to their textile work.

In Remembrance of my Grandmother, Anna Grace

My thoughts have turned towards my paternal grandmother. Her name was Anna Grace and she was a treasure. For those who don't know the story, my mother was pregnant with my youngest brother when I was 7 years old. ALICE QUILT Update

I have just received my order from McKin Studios. Great product and wonde ful people to deal with . The Alice Quiltie instructions are great and even though they are meant to be worked in redwork I think I will be using the block designs as applique patterns. may be with one red work design in ther .
