A passion for paisleys!

Hi everyone!

I thought I would add a few photos of other paisleys I've made using the same pattern on my tutorial, but with a variety of stitches, beads and sre.

Below is a paisley with Sassa Lynn thread size 5 for bullion stitch loops. But first, to make the paisley outline, I drew my paisley design and then did buttonhole stitch. Hearts

Just added some new photo's of hearts I've been tatting. I have gotton some from the computer & Be-Stitched and I also bought Martha Ess's book "Tats Amore" which I love. It's a little hard for me but I will keep trying. I still have to learn the Split Chain to do some of the hearts in her book and I hope I will be able to figure it out. In the mean time I am just enjoying trying all these patterns out.

Best Birthday Present Ever

My introduction to embroidery came from my mother at an early age, through school lessons and later with craft magazines and simple kits but I didn't really get into embroidery in a big way until the year I turned 40. My mother was a member of the Embroiderers Guild and was thrilled when I asked if I could join too.
