PRAYER FLAGS
Prayer flags are made so that the words inscribed on them or the energy placed in them will travel on the winds ......
I have made prayer/memorial flags on and off for a long time now, though never shown any here till now .Last month was one hell of a month through out the world and several events inspired me to make some flags and I'm sharing a few with you all.
My flags are made purely from the gut ,so to speak.I gather from my stash anything that catches my eye when I decide…

I'm so excited. I have to share!
I felt the urge to go wander in Goodwill, today. I was hoping, expecting to find something I could use in my garden. I was getting disappointed, because nothing was speaking to me, but then I remembered that I had found some fabric there once, so I went to that section.
There were several bags of jumbled yarns among the crafts people had given up on. I was going to pass them up, but then I saw what looked like a doily, and I thought with the…

Color Confidence by Trisha Burr
I received this book over the week end and I am so delighted to have it. It makes all those colors of dmc floss make sense. It sets out groups of DMC floss in groups of colors. I have been reading for two days and just can't put it down. For anyone who is unsure about color when it comes embroidery this really brings it all together.I hope this info is good for someone out there in the stitching world Hugs To all Elaine
