I love fabrics, silk ribbons, beads, and embellishments of all types. I also love to experiment with different methods and working with felting, paints, etc. I am a crazy quilter for the most part.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
From Me, Myself, and I. Experimenting is how I learn.
I have begun gathering for my fabric book. I hope to get some input as to when and how the group should operate. I want everyone to feel comfortable and get the help they need. I am looking forward to learning new techniques and helpful hints along the way. This should be a fun group and I am excited to see so many interested and that some have already made books.
Now I must figure out the flickr thingy!
How kind to comment Pat, I do value your oppinion very highly as you are so talented and do such creative works of art yourself.
I really loved doing those beaded stamens Pat too very relaxing.
You would laugh...us women how we cope? I have rhum' Arthur really badly in my hands and arms and very painful....I had to mould those flowers into shape...so I came up with a plan :O) I got some clothes pegs and ''pinched'' the petals in with clothes pegs giggles! I left them to dry in the sunshine and they came out just perfect too.
Anyhow once again...many thanks Pat for taking the time to encourage me, that meant a lot to me.
Warm wishes from Pam

It was well over 100 deg F (43.5 celsius) today in Sydney so we stayed (more like cowered) inside and I found a use for the precious purple fabric scraps I've been hoarding: your covered beads! Thank you for such a lovely project... Rosemary
Hi Pat,
I received an email today from cqmag online. They are going to use my photos of my bohemian bead ornament I made from your design! I had so much fun with this project. Instead of pendants I made two ornaments for my tree. They are really cute. I loved working in miniature and enjoyed having a cq project that could be finished in a day or two. So, thanks for sharing your fun idea!
Thanks Pat I also elieve you dont have any rules just enjoy yourself
maybe I should do some fabric books to put a hole in my stash that gets bigger instead of smaller
I;m open to suggestions
