Dear Jude, I am following your blogs already quite some time. It is my favourate. I love it absolutely. Your Cats are so dear. The blog is so well made and stimulating. Thank you for sharing this with everybody who has interest in stitching in a v...
No longer do I cover tables filled with food and laughter
My seams are frayed my hems falling my strength no longer able
To hold the hot and cold
I wish for those first days
When just woven I could keep water
From seeping through
Repelled stains with the tightness of my weave
Dazzled the sunlight with my
Reflection
I grow old though pleased with my memories
The tasks I can no longer complete
Are balanced by the love of the tasks gone past
I offer no apology only
this plea:
When I am frayed and strained and drizzle at the end
Please someone cut a square and put me in a quilt
That I might keep some child warm
And some old person with no one else to talk to
Will hear my whispers
Jude, your work blows me away!... I can't stop looking at it and I think that it is beautiful. It reminds me of sketches and doodles only all on fabric. Have you ever thought about illustrating children's literature? I think that it would be awesome!
Jude, you are indeed a special breed of snail! I have been away for three weeks and notice that you have added a lot of posts to your blog in that time, so I am looking for time for a long coffee break with you!
i felt very honoured when he gave me one of his books in barter for my piece the pot which you can see on my blog, frankly speaking otherwise i would have never been able to afford his book, a very kind hearted person he was
wow what quick reply, Jude there's link of Petercollingwoods page on your blog, have you met him personally ? I was fortunate enough to meet him and learn tablet weaving from him during his last few visits to India

Pallavi
