- discovered you through the stitch dictionary. my family has a tradition of giving to each graduating senior a jean square quilt onto which each family member has embroidered a meaningful picture. i have been doing this since i was 9. this year was the 19th quilt (i am now 41) and the first that i have truly enjoyed doing just for the fun of embroidery alone. i have regained an appreciation for handwork of all types - i also have recently taken up felting. glad to find this group!
