Pam, you could always snip off a small piece and drop it into some cold water to see if it disolves. I don't think that the hot water type will disolve in cold water but I think that cold water type will disolve in both.

I love quilting, embroidery, painting textiles and experimenting combining everything together just to see what it looks like. Im more drawn to hand stitching on textiles making things look folk arty.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
My mum shown me a lady dressed in victorian costume at a living industrial museum in Sheffield in 1978 this lady was sewing hexagon pieces.
. It wasnt til after my road accident in 1991 when someone gave me a middle of a bedspread of hexagons of course to complete and things just grew and grew from there.

Im deaf but I lipread well have mild MS when its behaving itself. I have two beautiful lurchers Scratch and Alice, have just started taking up gardening again after a long quiet spell.... well it has been winter.
I love classic rock and new age music and also love having a go at art using watercolours and acrylics.
I would love to make new freinds on here with others that love these things too on rainbow stitches, cloths and anything happy and dazzly. Loves witches wizards stones, bright coloured things, tie dyes artistic souls and horses.

oooh, where is Trish's place, I've not found that. I was at Hobbycraft today to stock up. my boys are away for two weeks, so I am going to be keeping busy. I do a lot of knitting as well. I started out with knitting when I was 5, everything else has come along since. We are at Grenoside, where did you used to live?
