In 2007 Sharon Boggon ran a challenge - Take a Stitch on Tuesday. TAST appears to be great for the beginners among us as the stitches are explained in great detail and with many photos to help someone master them. Everyone is welcome to join us.

still playing catch up, I HATE satin stitch but here it is.

I love to embroider, crochet and knit. Now that I am retired I can do lots and lots of these things. I mostly blog ab out what I aam making.

- What aspect of textiles are you interested in?
- Mainly patchwork with hand piecing being my favourite there but I am just starting to get into simple stitcheries. I look with awe at all of the amazing embroidery that some people do and hope to get time to try some at some stage in life.

- Morning Cinzia - I am new to stitchinfingers and would like to join the Take A Stitch on Tuesday group but am not sure if this is the correct way to go about it. What a wonderful way to introduce keen embroiderer's to new stitches and indicate where best to use them. It will be fascinating and especially so when sharing it with others. Thanks - Gail
