Hi, I've been knitting a sampler blanket with lots of different textures in it, but there are a couple of places where I've knitted a whole row in error (there's an example on my profile page), and…Continue

oh yeah love your blog too! great projects!
Yes... if I had it my way I would store up 4-5 months of food and craft projects and pile all the firewood right outside my door and NEVER leave my house all winter... I love how cozy winter is and the white blanket... but its paralyzing here. Its not nearly as bad (im told) as it use to be on this coast... but I think these Maritimers are just tellin stories (teehee). I am gaining a new appreciation for rain all year round like it is back home in BC... we are heading back there as soon as this place sells. Aaaanyways... I'm off to go sew up fleece hoodies for the whole chilly crew today! Blessings.
Hey Chloe!
I haven't logged in here for a long long time and its been a crazy summer (fun for a change... but lots of it)... and I noticed your message to me back in July! Thanks so much and its nice to meet someone who knows what a Yurt is and has even experienced something like it! We are just getting prepared to hunker down for our brutal long winters (yuck... I understand why animals hibernate since moving to Canadas east coast). Glad you enjoyed reading about my weird life and enjoyed my little wooly baby Alpacas (i miss them, but I am regularly updated that they are doing good and turning out little white wooly babies all summer!). I really gotta log on more often! Hope all is well with you! Blessings!
just picked up your comment about tatting Chloe, sorry been off the site for 9 weeks.
Tatting is looks rather like lace but being a beginner cannot tell you too much about it, as you like crochet and knitting think you will enjoy tatting too. I use a tatting needle, traditionally it is done with a shuttle but I can not get the hang of that, have a look on google for tutorials and see what you think
oooohhhhhh nice patch work strip, each square is interesting and colourful, look forward to seeing what it turns into.
The sale I told you about went off well.A group of ladies have this association going on for more than 25 years .They meet once a month and do some charitable work. They run a free crèche for mothers to leave their babies when at work.coming to the sale they had 20 tables which were affordable and I took one of those. As I mentioned earlier ,this is a first for me and I am no member.I had some cushion covers with Indian embroidery and needlework books pincushions.I have a picture of the cushions taken in the iPad, will try to post it soon.Am I rambling too much ? Is this the place or do I send to your email address?

thanks so much for the add to your friends list :-) and for your wonderful comments on my quilt squares!
Hi Chloe, Thank you so much your compliment on my crazy quilt square. It was my first go at it and I was pleased with how it turned out. I have a second block still in the hoop. It still needs a few more stiches til it's done. I haven't done any embroidery since the new year, I've really gotten into knitting and I'm loving it.
I love your knitting photos, you do beautiful work!
Thank you again! ~Melissa~
