thanks for asking me to be your friend.....my daughter spent 2 weeks last year in Canada - 1 week in Toronto & 1 week in Vancouver catching up with 2 friends she backpacked with 10 years ago and hadn't seen since, although she did keep in touch with them via facebook. She adored both cities and can't wait to go back.......and tells me I must go with her......who knows, one day perhaps

Dear Charlotte, we are OK.I live in the middle, and south part of Australia which is a long way from the east coast where the floods are. A friend sent me a link to a You Tube video of the water in Toowoomba.We might get some flooding from the rain band headed our way, but it will hit north and south of us.

I am so sorry to hear that your mother lost everything in that flood. It just seems beyond words- such horror and devastation.
