- What textiles are you interested in?
- All kind of embroidery but cross stitch. And I LOVE linen!
Now I am interested in quilting but I still know nothing at all about it
- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- At home through websites and books.
Last November I attended my first workshop about Guimaraes Embroidery and loved it. Next March I'll attende the second one.
- Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
- I'm Portuguese living in Porto.
My name is Méri and avó means grandmother in Portuguese. At blogland I sign and am known as "avó méri".
I'm the happy grand mother of the three most beautiful girls in the world ;)
I've started playing with needles and threads in 2005 when an illness kept me off my all life work.
