Hi, Wendy!
I´m your partner for the april-may swap and I´d like to know a little bit more about you in order to make your doll, like what color you prefer and so, could you please tell me something about your preferences? My email is glauciaburgi@gmail.com, ok? (I will also need your adress :)
Thank you!
greetings from Brasil
Wendy, thank you for the comment on my blog. You expressed interest in the peacock quilt blocks. I got my pattern from Rivkah at http://dollmakersmuse.blogspot.com/ . She is planning to make a full quilt and requested volunteers to help make the blocks. I figured that would be a great way to get the pattern! I made her eight blocks and another ten or so for myself at the same time. Now I have my quilt started and can finish it up whenever I get the notion. She could use more help - so it's not too late to get your own pattern from her.
Hi Wendy,
Your gorgeous postcard arrived intact on Friday, and I tried to get on to Stitchin Fingers immediately to thank you, but they were 'closed for maintenance' so I had to wait. I am absolutely delighted with your PC and am putting a photo of it on my blog in a minute. Thanks again for my first fabric postcard! How rotten some people are to 'vandalise' Doreen's postcard from you. No respect for anything....
Hi Wendy --your beautiful Autumn postcards arrived yesterday although Australia Post (or someone else) decided to draw circles on the back of it-but no harm done.Regards Doreen G
Hi again Wendy, thank you so much for replying to my message so quickly. I re-read my previous message and it sounds like a criticism - please accept my apologies! I didn't mean it to sound that way. I do understand that life 'gets in the way' and we can't always do what we originally intended.
I'm looking forward to receiving your card and will post a pic on my blog as soon as it arrives!
{{{Hugs}}}
Hi Wendy,
I'm glad you liked my postcard, and I'm looking forward to receiving yours. Sorry to hear you have had family problems; hope all is okay now. Can you tell me when you sent my postcard, so I have an idea when it might arrive? I thought you would have been one of the first to send them out, as you said you'd done a lot of them in advance!
Hi Wendy--I am not sure if I have the right Wendy or not but I was supposed to receive a Postcard from "Wendy"over on the Yahoo Groups page that Laura set up for the stitchin fingers group.
I backtracked through the links page and found your blog page and hence I thought it may be you.
Could you let me know if it is you and if it is you then has the PC been sent-otherwise I will have to go ack to Laura and find out what is happening.
This is so confusing having 2 groups running from the same group original group.
Now I am totally confused.
Doreen G
Hi Wendy,
I don't know if you have seen the messages from Kay Crandall, but she is saying she hasn't heard from you with a partner for the postcard swap. Sorry to butt in, but it would be a pity if this isn't resolved, as it means that Kay's allocated partner won't get her postcard! Can you check this out?
I am interested in crazy quilting, sane quilting, fabric postcards, redwork, reg. hand embroidery, crocheting, etc. I love all types of textiles and willing to learn new things.
