"The design of your pieces becomes ever more intricate and therefore more complex to stitch.  Your use of colour is wonderful.  This is lovely and the recipients are very fortunate.  Congratulations.  Ann B."

Your work has a commanding use of color.  It keeps the eye in constant movement. I am so appreciative to be able have the opportunity to admire it.

Wayne have spent another happy time looking at your work which is astonishing. I was wondering what thread  you use, presume you work with just one strand, look forward to seeing your next piece.

Hi Wayne.. I know what you mean about framing, If I have to mount a piece for an exhibition I use artist core board, it is two thick sheets of cardboard with a foam core sandwiched in the middle, goods art supplies sell it. I cut it to the size needed and then I cover the top with a layer of wadding.. I then stretch my work over it using pins, the pins go into the core with no trouble, pin on all sides making sure your design and fabric is straight..... then lace the back from top to bottom and side to side... then if you wish hand slipstitch a piece of felt on the back.

This is great way to 'frame' work and best of all it is cheap and the whole piece is removeable.... have a lookat my pics... Marilyn, the cross stitched faces and some of the drawn thread is done this way... hope You like this... handstitched works are just too nice not to display

Hi, Wayne, your embroidery is so beautiful. It reminds me a plastic artist. Kazuya Sakai. Do you know his work?
