"Elaine and Ann's comments would be mine  -  how very different each example of the same design looks with your colour choices  -  as always perfect examples of satin stitch."

"Again you have achieved a wonderful 3D effect. Is it just the stitch direction or is there a slight colour change at top right of the larger circle that makes it look like a ball?"

"Tremendous. Such exactitude. Living in a multi-ethnic Caribbean community, the colors resonate. The use of the more traditional four color palette instead of the ubiquitous, somewhat commercialized and trivialized three colors sings.  Salud!"

Hi Wayne. When you asked about my (old) profile pic, the label from WW2 Semco crochet thread, I said that Semco was a discontinued brand. I hadn't seen it for about 30 years but it's suddenly reappeared in the latest brochure from a discount chain. Best, Elaine

Thank you, Wayne, I am in awe of your ability. My vision is good, but I need much more experience to achieve what my mind sees. Please do you have any tips to impart on how you achieve the Perfect Satin Stitch?
