To answer your question, my work is a mixture, some are adapted patterns, others my own designs. When I get inspirations from a picture or pattern I adapt it into my own design. Margaret

Thanks for your comment.=) Yes, the bird is actually called 'blue tit' and it's one of my absolute favourite birds, if not *the* favourite.

The photos on my page are pulled thread, Hardanger and bobbin lace. 35 years ago I began doing a little pulled thread work, and also developed an urge to try Hardanger, but never actually did any. Then around 1980 I began bobbin lace, and once that started, all the embroidery stopped. But the last 4 years, since i've acquired 2 very active and inquisitive cats, I've been afraid to go back to the bobbin lace. So for the last 4 years I've been pursuing my interest in pulled thread and Hardanger. I think pulled thread is what I love best, but I find it harder to design for than Hardanger. I only joined stitchinfingers in early December, but even in so short a time I've gotten a lot of stimulation from other participants, and especially seeing their work, (and ideas I can steal).

Glad you liked my turquoise and purple needlefelted purse! You are so innovative in the pieces you have posted. I really like the pieces in #19 and #22. Hope you can get back to your needlefelted purse project!

Coucou Véro,
Un peu de mal à y voir clair dans ce nouveau groupe et je n'y ai pas consacré beaucoup de temps jusqu'ici, en tous les cas il y a déjà du beau monde :-)!
