"I did my very first cross stitch in infant school (about 5 or 6) and was also taught embroidery, lacemaking and how to use a sewing machine. I'm not really one for drawing so needlework is my main creative outlet"

"All embroidery is beautiful and has it's special place. I honestly have never tried Japanese embroidery, but have tried (and loved) Sashiko. I will no doubt be trying Japanese embroidery soon as well"

I enjoy embroidery in general and sewing (clothing, pillows etc)
Where did you learn your textile skills?
Self taught mainly
Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
I can be very quiet most of the time, but, will jump in if I feel I can help.
