- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- I saw this work for the first time in Cape Town South Africa, I bought some work from Di van Niekerk and learned more about it from the books from Jane Nicholas.

- This work was quite unknown in The Netherlands. I had an exhibition of my work and was asked to give some workshops and I did 4 courses now in a quiltshop.
I also promote the work from Di van Niekerk and gave a lot of quiltlessons in all kind of techniques as well

Toos, your work is exceptional, I love Di van Niekerk's work, I lived in South Africa for years and I've collected all her books since she first started writing. Have you got a blog? Your white quilt is beautiful, how did you do it, it looks like you used several different techniques, I'm just beginning to get into quilting.

Hoi Toos,
Wat maak jij prachtieg dingen! Ik heb nog maar een paar dingetjes in stumpwork techniek gedaan, maar vind het helemaal leuk. Alleen de tijd, he. Ik heb vorige week het nieuwste boek van Jane Nicholas gekocht met alle kevertjes. Prachtig.
