Profile Information
- What textiles are you interested in?
- I love all textiles, I embroider using many techniques, make garments and homewares, quilt, knit, crochet, tatting, macrame, beading (also make jewellery), Dorset Buttons, tassels, spin and weave, feltwork, I just dip in and out as needed and combine many techniques.
- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- Initially from Mum and Nana but had the luck to study C&G under three wonderful, well known tutors, which sent me down a much more creative path.
- Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
- I have been stitching over 45 years and spent around 30 of those years teaching it. Recently I have stopped formal teaching but still like to keep my hand in by doing ad hoc lessons and online work. I am sure I would miss the creative sharing if I retired properly!
