Shepherds Bush Stocking

"I love these stockings-I have made four and keep saying I want to stitch all of them to make into stocking shaped pillows.  I have three that I hang each year and one that is a pillow!  This is so lovely!"

What textiles are you interested in?
Hand Embroidery, crazy quilting, pieced quilting, hand sewing
Where did you learn your textile skills?
From my grandmothers and my mother, I have also taken classes and worked with friends to learn more. I am always hungry to learn more

Hi Tina, thanks for all your comments on my photos, you are very kind. 

The phases in Japanese embroidery relat to the various levels of learning, phase one is the first, phase 10 the graduation piece. There are lots of practice pieces and also phases beyond 10.  If you visit pages from other members of the JE group here you'll see lots of wonderful work. Also check out the JE gallery on www.japanese-embroidey.co.uk
