Yes, my aunt started me with a traditional quilt (North, on the blog). It was my first piece and I loved it. I have loved the medium ever since. The funny thing about fabrics, that was never true about the other mediums that I was teaching myself, is that people just started bringing me fabrics. My stash of supplies practically grows on its own. My lesson there, is that when you find something you truly love, the universe supplies the means for you to continue. So that's what I do. I like to keep challenging myself, and expanding my comfort zone in what I can accomplish with textiles. Thank you so much for your interest!:)

So surpised to read on your blog, that you were playing with fabrics since 2002; Incredible!
