What textiles are you interested in?
Really anything that strikes my fancy! I sew clothing, crafts, quilts, art books. I like to embroider, cross-stitch.
Where did you learn your textile skills?
My aunt taught me to embroider, my home ec teacher taught me basic sewing and I've taught myself everything else through books, blogs, tutorials, etc.
Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
I'm a SAHM of 3 wonderful girls

Hi Tabitha. Welcome to Stitching Fingers. My name is Elaine . I live in Florida but, I grew up in Seattle. I have lived in Florida for a long time but my family still lives in Marysville WA.  When I read your profile i said this girl is a lot like me. I am the same way anything that strikes my fancy I love to try. Really though I am a hand embroider at heart, love that needle in my hand.  You will love it here as everyone is friendly and helpful. Have a look at everyone's work and be ready to be inspired. Click on there page and then scroll down until you see there slide show. I can't wait to see some of your work.  Sharon B has a TAST or take a Stitch Tuesday where they learn a new stitch every week and then they share what they have done. It is a lot of fun to see what everyone comes up with. There are a lot of groups you can join. The post card groups seems to have the most fun. Well glad you are here. Happy Stitching Hugs Elaine
