- What textiles are you interested in?
- I love to crazy patch on velvets, silk and satins. I am currently experimenting with my acrylic paints to dye some lace and trims for my crazy patch work.
- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- I learned embroidery at the age of 8. My mother taught me to sew on the machine at an early age. Now, that I am retired, I have returned to hand work and discovered the joy of crazy path. As to my work with fabric art: I am self-taught for the most part. I am currently taking courses to enhance my skills and go beyond the 'box'.
- Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
- Sharon, I have taken two of your courses to date and have signed up for the Sumptuous Surfaces course.
