Hi, Susan.....You did such a fantastic job with this group this year! I was unable to participate after all due to things going on in my life, but am so impressed with the achievements of those that did the 100 Days.
My life has settled down and I want to try to do the 100 Details this year.
I'm sure there are some like me that weren't able to complete it this last year or new members coming on board that might want to join in another challenge. Would you be interested in monitering another group of 100 Details? If not, I'd be willing to do one that was 100 Details in 2009. I posted a "feeler" on the group to see if there would be interest in this type of a 100 Details group. If there is interest, and IF you wouldn't hostess it, would you help me get it going? I'd rather that you did it as you have it down pat by now, but I'd certainly understand your not wanting to take on that commitment again, especially since you've done the challenge yourself. To do it myself, I'd need help learning how to set up the group, how to post the Details each week (I do have all of Sharon's 100 Details saved on my computer), and about whether we'd need to set up a new Flicker site or if we could continue to use the same site. Let me know what you think. As I said in my post on the group....it would be nice to keep Sharon's 100 Details a continuing legacy. I'll look forward to hearing back from you.
Hi Susan I just read your message on my wall AFTER I had written my blog post this morning as I got the message that you sent out to everyone. I too have enjoyed watching what people have been doing. Often I am in this position. Actually sometimes I think its more enjoyable because it takes the pressure off and you can just enjoy it . Thanks for running the group I really appreciate it

Susan thanks for hosting the re-run of the 100 Details. It has been such fun to follow the days and I have stretched myself more than I expected to.
While waiting to post this comment I have been enjoying your slideshow. Fantastic stitching. Love the pansies and goldwork particularly.

Hi Susan, my e-mail is dianematheson@hotmail.com.Thank you for organizing the 100 days challenge and another big thank you to SharonB for planning it in the beginning. I really appreciated your encouragement all the way through. Sometimes it was difficult posting a seam that didn't really come up to standard, but I did it anyway. I couldn't begin to tell you how much I learned and the pleasure I got from taking part. I need to keep going, whaat else do you suggest?

I have ordered sequins from him and I have also met them at Brimfield flea market. He goes to Mays field on Thursdays of Brimfield week and I always love to look at his stuff. But he doesn't bring anything as nice as his store looks like in the pictures. Shirlee

I was looking at your blog and I tried to google vintage dream and didn't get anywhere OHHH I see now you have aconnection to her online store. I will check it out it looks great. Where is it?? Lesage has two other books . One is on ribbon flowers and the other is mostly wearable stuff.
Actually the class I took was a small pin and I had no idea until I got there. I just wanted to learn "Luniville" as they call the tambor hook.
THe big piece that takes 150 hours and costs 6000 euro is amazing. People were there from all over the world. A lot were young girls (with rich dads) going to fashion design school. The certificate from Lesage adds to there credentials. Its and open classroom so you can go and take any class at any time. Sorry I am blabbering. I don't usually have trouble sleeping but tonight I did so I decided to do something constructive. Shirlee
