Sue Jones replied to Maureen Bond's discussion Counted thread embroidery in the group Hand Embroidery
"Hi Maureen, Rather than have to keep moving a hoop, you might want to consider putting your project on a scroll frame or on stretcher bars. Thats how I would do it."

Profile Information

What textiles are you interested in?
knitting, needlepoint, quilting, all forms of embroidery
Where did you learn your textile skills?
I learned knitting first when I was about 10. An older woman who lived nearby taught me. Since then, I have read a lot and learned from guilds.
Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
I am fairly new to the idea of on-line networking groups, but it seems like a great way to "meet" others with the same interests.

Hi Sue, Thank you for joining Cross Stitchin Fingers! I am very sorry it has taken me so long to welcome you, but I am about to post a message on the forum to you and our other new members, so please drop in and introduce yourself :-)

The group has been very quiet for the past six months, but I'm hoping we'll have some interest in new activities early next year.
