Profile Information

What aspect of textiles are you interested in?
Traditional patchwork and quilting, art quilting, embroidery, felting and whatever new ideas I might want to try - such as painting on or dyeing fabric. Recently purchased a Pfaff embellisher and am having fun with that creating surfaces on which to do further stitching.

I have a Flikr site you might like to check out: http://www.flickr.com/photos/paddysdaughter
Where did you learn your textle skills?
Numerous classes over many years, and self taught from books, magazines and more recently online, both classes and other's inspirational blogs or tutorials.
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
I live in the country, on nearly three acres, with a developing garden so there are often not enough hours in the day........

Hi Sue, I did not realize you were here! Yes, I take the blame, I pointed all that beautiful pulled work out to everyone over on the Pulled & Drawn threadwork group here. Hope you do not mind. Jenny

Thank you so much, Sue, for your kind comment! Yours are, too - and WOW, I love the garden gate (opened and closed). Your quilting is fantastic! I love the scenic quilts - very pretty!

Thank you, Sue. I agree that the wool is very tactile - always a dilemma when it comes time to display on a wall - to put under glass or not is the eternal question! :)
