Quilts, dolls, bears, clothes, and since I was a little girl I love knitting ;-)

Where did you learn your textle skills?

by my own, books, journals, the knitting I learned from my ount at the age of 7 years

Nice to be your friend.I am from India. I am passionate about hand embroider-specially Indian and other technics, crafts of all types including paper crafts, painting including fabric painting, cooking, reading and gardening.. I like to experiment in various media as well as various crafts discovering new things in spare time. Now I am learning Brazillian Embroidery, Stump work and various Indian embroidery technics. I am also self taught.
I have not made dolls till now, though I would like to make sock dolls and other dolls. Once I learn the basics, I would like to make Indian dolls. I don't know much of knitting .But I plan to learn. I have knitted some shawls -crochet and U-pin
