Opps, I forgot to say that Dharma Trading is in the USA.
Dharma Trading is also a good source. They have two weights in the lightest silk. I think the 'heavier' weight is better of the two but it is still very fine. Let me know if you are in New Zealand as I used a good company there.
I find www.silkcraft.co.uk the cheepest place to buy silk chiffon and silk ponge too.
Hi do not know where you reside but over here in the Uk Whaleys is the best source of silk chiffon and they have a web service http://www.whaleys.com

Once a very traditional quilter, with cupboards full of bed sized quilts, I now tend to make smaller things - journal quilts, page sized pieces, machine needled things for further embellishment and embroidery and so on. I love it all. How about some photos of your work on your page here, so we can all see what you love to make?
