Dharma Trading is also a good source. They have two weights in the lightest silk. I think the 'heavier' weight is better of the two but it is still very fine. Let me know if you are in New Zealand as I used a good company there.

Hello, thanks for your comment on my blog - the books are gorgeous. I'm interested in all sorts of textile stuff, and love trying new techniques. Once a very traditional quilter, with cupboards full of bed sized quilts, I now tend to make smaller things - journal quilts, page sized pieces, machine needled things for further embellishment and embroidery and so on. I love it all. How about some photos of your work on your page here, so we can all see what you love to make?
