- Hi Sharon thanks for the comments on my work, you asked about altered books, these are either a sketchbook you buy and then cut it into a shape (if you wish) then start to create pages on your subject theme mine was Hedgerows. The other is to buy a book any reading book or any subject will do you then start to transform the pages using various methods , these are such fun. Just put altered books into a web search and loads will come up. Hugs Juliette
