Thanks for the compliments, Sharon! What a nice thing to wake up to. I like your work too. There's a terrific variety, and that holly garland is beautiful.

I think a swap would be fun. If you email me at kbscheidt@yahoo.com, I'll send you my address and we can go from there.

Thank you for your kind comment about my flat case.
I like any beadwork, especially stitching onto fabric or canvas.

You made me smile Sharon , that used to be my biggest problem too much time on computer and not enough doing LOL. You have made some lovely things yourself, I love the doll, I made and swapped some out of Patti Culea,s book, I love them. Hugs

Hi Sharon, the butterflies are approx 18 inches by 12 inches. I stitched them for my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. There is a growing community of Japanese Embroiderers in Australia. A few of them are members of the JE group here on Stitching Fingers.

Hi Sharon thanks for the comments on my work, you asked about altered books, these are either a sketchbook you buy and then cut it into a shape (if you wish) then start to create pages on your subject theme mine was Hedgerows. The other is to buy a book any reading book or any subject will do you then start to transform the pages using various methods , these are such fun. Just put altered books into a web search and loads will come up. Hugs Juliette

Hi Sharon, I love your natural dying. The shades are beautiful, although I agree it would be quite something if you could reproduce the original shades of the flowers and leaves.

I love the colour that comes from the gum leaves, that was surprising to me.
