Hi again Sadie, I usually start exchanges at the beginning of a month, and ask the participants to complete their exchange by the end of that month. Most people seem to manage that, but if you run late, all you have to do is post a message to say so, and everyone will understand.
Hi Sadie,
I'm sorry I've taken so long to respond to your questions on the ATC forum - I thought I had, but just as well I double-checked tonight!
You can use rubber stamps on your ATC if you wish, but bear in mind that it is a FABRIC ATC group, so try to use any kind of fabric, either as a base, or some form of embellishment.
As far as the swaps we organise, you only send one of your ATCs to the person you are sending to. It can be embarrassing to the other person if you send more than one, and they have only sent you one (this has happened to me). I know many girls send additional bits and pieces with their ATC as a little extra surprise, and that's nice, but it is optional.
You can always post a message on the comment wall that you would like to swap with more people on a one to one basis; say you have 5 ATCs ready to go, just ask for five people to contact you! I don't think you will have to wait long for a response!
