Hi Rosemary. So far, I have tried to put my picture on my profile, but not successfully. I am going to have to take some time to go through this network. I am a 'babe in the woods' when it comes to doing things on the computer. I seem to spend more time trying to dig myself out of something I had no intention of going into. Yikes. Hopefully, I will get to know more about this and post some pictures of my work and talk a little more.
Anne Whitteron said… Hello Rosemary. Thanks for welcoming me! I'm very new to this type of communication despite working with computers for decades now - shocking, I know. I'm so looking forward to getting started on TAST, and will see where all this takes me. Lovely fun. Your work is beautiful and I love the ocean inspiration - do you live by the sea? Regards, Anne
Wow, I love your work. Suzanne Lalande
Hello Rosemary and welcome. I love all of your creative embroidery. Thank you for your lovely comments on my work. I enjoy doing crazy patchwork (the embroidery bit anyway) and I am enjoying the challenge of TAST at the moment. Regards Dianne.
Margaret said… Hi Rosemary, good to hear from you. I am looking forward to seeing photos of yur work.
Off to the NEC tuesday, I am working at the show on the |Nordic Needlework stand, will be very tiring as I retired 5 years ago so out of practise for standing all day, at least I will get a chance( I hope) to look round the show.Know of 2 stiytchin fingers members who are going for a day so hope to link up with them, have made a badge saying stitchin fingers in case there are other members there. Wow can`t wait till thursday when the show opens.
Will take a piece of 28ct evenweave and stitch a bit of hardanger in the evening subject to the hotel light being good.
Margaret said… Hi Rosemary, welcome, you will have a whale of a time on the site, I find it very addictive, it is hampering my stitching! Like you I did C & G, being more of a traditional embroiderer I struggled, needed 3 years off between parts one and two!My favouirite technique is hardanger. I now have an embellishing machine and play around on that.I am sure we will inspire you to get stitching again.
