Profile Information

What textiles are you interested in?
Hand embroidery and canvaswork, and more recently goldwork
Where did you learn your textile skills?
My Grandmama taught me the basics and after that I picked it up from books. I've been on two of Tracy Franklin's courses, but they are the only real life embroidery teaching I've ever received.

I'm doing two of Tricia's Online University courses and learning a lot from them.

Yep - there's that to be done. Do you think it will lead to thoughts of the overall design - size of the various outliers, colours (tan here, turquoise and gold here....) or are you waiting for the various 'outlier' pieces to come to you over time?
